Iced Espresso Almond Milk

 

 

I hope this recipe becomes a hit at so many homes throughout Australia! There is nothing more satisfying than an icy cold espresso almond milk on a hot summers morning. 

GLUTEN FREE | RAW | PALEO | VEGAN | DAIRY FREE

Serves 6 different occasions

Approx. $1.20 AUD per batch - $0.20 AUD per serve

Equipment required: Ice cube tray, glass jug and coffee machine (optional)

 

Ingredients

 

1 ¼ cup brewed coffee or 6 tsp. granulated coffee and 1 ¼ cup of boiling water

1 cup almond milk or Banaban Organic Coconut Milk 

 

Directions

  1. Brew coffee as per machine or equipment you have at home. Granulated coffee will work for this as well. For granulated coffee mix 3 tsp. coffee with 1 ¼ cup of boiling water.
  2. Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze overnight until solid.
  3. To prepare an iced espresso almond milk simply pop out 2 ice cubes of espresso mix and combine with 1 cup of almond milk.
  4. Allow 1-2 minutes for the espresso ice cubes to mix with almond milk.
  5. Stir well and enjoy!
