Iced Espresso Almond Milk
I hope this recipe becomes a hit at so many homes throughout Australia! There is nothing more satisfying than an icy cold espresso almond milk on a hot summers morning.
GLUTEN FREE | RAW | PALEO | VEGAN | DAIRY FREE
Serves 6 different occasions
Approx. $1.20 AUD per batch - $0.20 AUD per serve
Equipment required: Ice cube tray, glass jug and coffee machine (optional)
1 ¼ cup brewed coffee or 6 tsp. granulated coffee and 1 ¼ cup of boiling water
1 cup almond milk or Banaban Organic Coconut Milk
- Brew coffee as per machine or equipment you have at home. Granulated coffee will work for this as well. For granulated coffee mix 3 tsp. coffee with 1 ¼ cup of boiling water.
- Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze overnight until solid.
- To prepare an iced espresso almond milk simply pop out 2 ice cubes of espresso mix and combine with 1 cup of almond milk.
- Allow 1-2 minutes for the espresso ice cubes to mix with almond milk.
- Stir well and enjoy!
